This is an article of the turkey meat and the health benefits of it being a source of lean meat and how it makes a healthy diet. This gives you reasons to eat turkey all year round, not only on Thanksgiving Day. Turkey first of all is a high protein and low fat food. And that protein fills your stomach up, feeds your muscles energy and keeps you going throughout the day, whether you are on the job at the workplace or on the weekends somewhere on vacation. Turkey gives you “good” fats that do not clog up your arteries and eventually give you a heart attack. It has crucial vitamins such as Vitamin B12, which is important for blood cell growth. Turkey also has vital minerals such as magnesium, iron, and zinc, good for your immune system. Overall, turkey fulfills two-thirds of an average adult’s nutrients. So what ways are there to incorporate turkey in your diet? Turkey Sandwich You can buy sliced turkey at your local grocery store and put that into your sandwich and take that to work with you the next day for work.
