I know you are out there looking for good health and nutrition tips for the office. This may sound weird but, the misconception is that people who are fat eat too much and to lose weight you need stop eating and starve yourself in order to achieve the body you want. 

Your tummy can't be grumbling at the workplace and expect to stay fit at work.

You may be asking : “what are some good health and nutrition tips?”

Well here goes…


1.      
Quality not Quantity

Quantity of food does matter, but the QUALITY of food to me matters more.  If your meals consisted of burgers, milkshakes, and candy bars, which is high in sugar and high in fat, your body will store those calories into your fat cells, therefore fat in your body will build up.  If you decided to switch your meal plan into foods that are whole grains, high if fiber, full of vitamins, then your body will respond to the foods differently and be stored into your muscles or help your digestive system instead.

What to do instead

My point is, SWITCH the types of foods that are putting into your body than just cutting back on the calories.   The right foods will not turn into fat and will actually help you supplement your body with the right nutrients and speed up your metabolism so your body burns for calories throughout the day.  Eating portioned meals 6 times a day alone helps your body keep up your metabolism and with the right kinds of foods, you won’t feel weighed down, bloated or hungry right away and instead feel energized and alive.  

3.      
No starving please

Starvation will not lead to fast healthy weight loss. 
If you starve yourself to lose weight, you will shed the unwanted pounds, but at the same time lose valuable nutrients to sustain yourself, lean muscle will go away, and depending what you are cutting out, you will be more prone to sickness.  Dieting and eating less is also not a good long term way to be successful at keeping your weight off.  Only a painful route of hunger and starvation.  The problem is, when people start eating again, they REALLY eat and put on all the weight back again.   

So please eat,  the RIGHT things that will keep your body functioning healthily and your metabolism up to stay fit at work.
